how do you build young dogs up trotting at what speed and distances

Start mine off at a steady 20mph for 3 mile then upto 41 for the next 2 mile then stretch them off and back to the van where they get a protein shake

 

dont think my legs can peddle that fast

 

If john was trotting lucas in front of you I bet you could

trot mine at a steady 28 mph behind the mobility, when get up to 32 they start swaying back and to violently, its nothing to worry about though, they are just wondering which side to pass me on.

I much prefer 43 myself as the traffic cops usually allow 10% for speeding when going through the village. One thing I couldn't do after it is stretching them off and give them a protein shake

I trot mine out back of van every night usually 8 to 10 mph, 3 miles distance and a walk in morning mixed between free running and road work...

I tie mine to the tow bar of the van and drive down the a1 usualy doing about 15 miles at the end of the session ur practily dragging them

my dogs are scared of going down the A1 because they know whats coming

start out on 4 mile and build up over as month, gunna be later starting this year still too warm, am sticking to a couple of walks a day for next couple of weeks
