heres mine not one over 21tts thats all use them for mooching and a we bit lamping mostly ferreting

Thanks mate what sort of ground do you run him on or should I say what sort of ground does he do well on or can he cover most ground well enough

I run him wherever theres gear to run mate..im not saying he would be better than the local strays down in Lincolnshire if thats where I was going to work him lol but we bred him for the areas I was predominantly going to work him, fell, woodland, scree, scrub,clear fell, marsh land, heather, hilly,pasture and crop we have everything here so a one trick pony is not worth a toss in these parts well not if your intention is to catch what you chase. .no he would never of been a hare dog back in the day, would he of caught a good few hell yes ") To get the best out of a dog you have to work it to its strengths and that includes by working it on land that favours it..just like the coursing lads used to favour running their dogs on big land..its what their dogs were bred to run on and it played to their dogs strengths..Atb Andy

It's nice to take a dog to any sort of land and they can still catch on it, atb fir the rest of the season bud
