Cheers Andy. The pointers really do take some beating at all aspects of a ferreting dog. The older of the two as taken more day time rabbits then any of the lurchers probably by pressuring them from the start and anticipating there movement a bit better

I have hunted a fair bit with GWP's and they will turn their hand to anything. Proper HPR's (Hunt Point Retrieve) and so much more.
They are allot of dog for your money, but they need WORK

 

My only issue is they make a ugly cross with a greyhound

Pre ban I bolted a fox for some guns but they only wounded it and it was away.
Not for very long when the GWP caught up with it.
