yea mate must have been same programme. they also were going into villages.sneakily walking quiet(which i found hard to believe,but they apparantly can be very quiet) anyway they would go into these villages in the dead of night,and with there trunks pull c**ts out there beds and smash them to death on the ground. scientists have a theory they do this cause the villages are getting to close to thier terrority.and they see them as a threat.

Well bollocks to the EDL then lets just build some elephant parks on the fringes of Hounslow/Birmingham/Bradford !

Sorry Gnash lol

Elephants on my holidays lol... Went to Thailand with my ex, there was a young elephant in the hotel.. It was like a fcking great puppy lol, it would run around the hotel grounds twice a day then run into the sea, the kids would play with it, it would spray them etc fcking mental... First day I saw it running round I thought someone had spiked my drink lol

We went on a trip to the river Kwai, went accross the bridge, into a prisoner of war memorial etc.. And then on an elephant ride up the river, we'd made friends with a scouse couple they're elephant charged the banana stall ( locals sale them to feed the elephants), in one swoop of its trunk this elephant ate the lot lol... The scouse lad quick as you like shouts " even my elephant nicks like a scouser"... Brilliant lol..

At the end of the ride, you can have a massage from an elephant, I'm laid face down with this elephant very gently rubbing my back with it's front foot...

I like elephants too mate lol...

Flies..maggots ...all manner of carnivore wildlife..then then the insects will pick the bones totally clean...Bones will be dispersed by foxes..badgers..rats..dogs..cats..eventually the ground/foliage will cover the remaining bones up. Tests are done on Body farms throuoght america just for this particular purpose ..to see how a body breaksdown under natural circumstances.

That all makes sense...but this is what i dont get......how is it we often hear cases where human remains have been found years after its been put in the ground and they can take all kinds of details from those remains down to the finest details.......yet with an animal barely anything is left within pretty short order.....i cant believe flies,maggots and the like are particularly fussy about their carcass ?...or are they prejudice against humans :D ....

Maybe because a human carcass is buried Gnash, not laying above ground, flies etc won't get at them below ground to lay the eggs...

They probably could do the same with an animal carcass if they really needed to Gnash.. :yes: The ground is probably full of all sorts of bones..

To hazard a guess I'd say only a small percentage of missing bodies are found years later. Certain conditions will preserve a body to differing degrees, so those that are found were probably due to the environment they were found in. That's purely a guess.

Anyway Gnash, I had you down as a body disposal expert! I imagined somebody else starting a thread like this and you coming on with a worrying knowledge on the subject and a deep admiration of pigs! :icon_eek::D

I'm a bit dissapointed. :laugh::thumbs:

It sometimes is to do with the size of the bones eg the thickness etc also if you leave bones on top of the soil they will deteriorate quicker through insects, weather and simple decomposition purely because the bacteria is constantly feeding.

Sometimes when a body is buried it can preserve the body through the decomposition being slowed down and plus DNA can be extracted from parts of the bone that haven't been in contact with any air etc.
