Simoman 110
Just get them used to small obstacles as pups so they don't even know there jumping, nothing with any height as I don't want to put too much pressure on their joints/bones and always make jumping fun. As they mature I increase the size of the obstacle and always ensure jumping is fun. I also don't get them jumping for no reason just because I can............ Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Mine learnt to jump by hurdling the child safety gate in my old flat. That then progressed to him climbing the six foot wooden gate in the garden... Quote Link to post

birddog 1,354
start with a plank in the yard when they're pups and gradually increase its height, that way they grow up jumping naturally and have confidence to jump when you begin to teach the commands bit and increase the height and vary the obstacle 1 Quote Link to post
Mixed Bag 603
couple of board across the kennel so they have to jump it to get in or out gradualy increase the height and spaces in between then move on to low wire once they are confident on solid jumps you should know all this mate with desmondo and gorger as your mentors Quote Link to post
