He blew off his thumb pads and tore a toenail out the other day. That dog is going to kill himself in the bush. I have a small piece of woods between the driveway and my back dog yard and it's full of pines with all sorts of branches that are small straight and low and he'll run a rabbit through there barely holding back. I'm sure he's going to be a one eyed dog soon if he doesn't skewer himself and tip over one of these times. He can run a track and keep giving himself another shot at snatching them. I slipped him in town the other day. I saw a good opportunity and cut him into a rabbit sitting out in this lady's lawn and it broke away right at the slip. Mikey had his nose on it's tail fur and it cut left as it crossed the pavement on the road and his feet went out from underneath him. I'm never seen a dog get up and look so pissed off after a good tumble. He didn't loose much fur off of his sides so I snuck around to the other side of her place and ran another. Fun day sneeking around in town. I keep a piece of broken leash on his collar so I'll have an out if I get nabbed. I'm not gypsy but I'm having fun acting like one.
