AAS200 Rookie 3
Well since it said to introduce my self, i shall... Hi. my name is Jason, i'm from Chester and i am reasonably new to hunting and field sports, My mothers partners fault but hey, i am not complaining its GREAT. Started out with a Crossman Ratcatcher, brilliant little gun in my opinion though i didn't hunt and kill with it it got my marksman skilled up to scratch so to speak, But recently i bought an Air Arms S200, which is the gift i ever bought my self Been down the local range with it and i find out standing, hoping to get out in the fields to find Rodger Rabbit and his family this weekend, not got anything against rabbits its just well... i like to shoot aha.Whilst am here blabbing on, i posted another post yesterday regarding some parts for my S200, if you could take a look and advice if possible, i would be very much so grateful Choi For Now Folks. GSkye 94
Considering there's quite a few farms around Chester, I know of. There should be a good chance of just calling up and asking. There's also a permission form posted on the forum, may have to look for the pinned posts but could come in handy. Also, if you haven't already, look into a BASC membership, quite a lot of land owners like this for insurance reasons but this benefits you also + the site is really useful for other bits too. Hope you find something
AAS200 Rookie 3
There is few famrs round the area where i live, i have asked quite a few and they have politely asked me to F**k Off aha, I have managed to get 2 farms up in the Ruthin are recently, so i am looking forward to getting up there this weekend. And i have managed to find a couple of different permission slip over the net, but cheers. Also i have looked into the BASC membership and come next pay day i will defernetly be getting that, well worth it like you said alot of land owners appreciate you having it and it ups my chances of getting permission to shoot. GSkye 94
Haha it's generally the north west way of saying no really keep trying and once you get your BASC membership, it shows your not like every other lad in the north with a gun lol To me, generally speaking I think it shows them you know what you're doing and if there was any trouble, you won't be making a claim from the land owner. They're pretty happy knowing you have that but don't be surprised for the first few times they follow you like a shadow, making sure you do everything right.
