In that case I'd leave the culling to someone who would benefit from the venison.

I put them up in a small hedge were there are no dog walkers or foot paths and when the fly blow there eggs on the fox there ends up plenty maggots and you should see the amount of birds wit are there some times feeding on the maggots

those maggots would be good for fishing too.

After reading some replies on here i am slightly confused.. :hmm: .. how many of you folk carry a spade about with you all night while shooting..personaly i would just hire a Mini Digger and drive the field's in that...that way you can kill two foxes with one stone..

Can I just widen this further, what do you do with a deer carcass if you shoot a deer for pest control but don't want to eat it? hedge also?

If for whatever reason it was not quite suitable/palateable for human consumption my dogs would eat royally for a couple weeks

 

I never ever throw away edible quarry.

dog meat. foxes go in a hedge out of the way somewhere

Gift it,dog food,sell it anything but leave it bloody awful waste or............don't shoot to start with!!!
