alan81 110
I put them up in a small hedge were there are no dog walkers or foot paths and when the fly blow there eggs on the fox there ends up plenty maggots and you should see the amount of birds wit are there some times feeding on the maggots those maggots would be good for fishing too. Millet 4,497
After reading some replies on here i am slightly confused.. .. how many of you folk carry a spade about with you all night while shooting..personaly i would just hire a Mini Digger and drive the field's in that...that way you can kill two foxes with one stone.. 1 Quote Link to post
Alsone 789
Can I just widen this further, what do you do with a deer carcass if you shoot a deer for pest control but don't want to eat it? hedge also? Quote Link to post

I would be livid if I heard that someone shot a deer and left it in the field. What a rediculous waste! 8 Quote Link to post

If for whatever reason it was not quite suitable/palateable for human consumption my dogs would eat royally for a couple weeks I never ever throw away edible quarry. Quote Link to post

Malt 379
Hedged.. Edit: Foxes, obviously.. No deer around here, and they wouldn't be wasted if we did have any. Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
If it was a fully grown red stag, I'd start digging a hole for it with my handy trowel I carry. By the time I finished the hole, the magpies would have eaten it down to just a skellington. Quote Link to post
