lapin2008 1,587
liked lucy the crow when i seen her run on dvd Always makes me laugh when people say seen it on dvd, like they don't edit stuff........ Not disputing that some top dogs have been on dvd but its not all cut and dried. i can only comment on what ive seen on dvd like the topic says I only seen it on youtube, but i reckon that fenton dog could be up there Without a shadow of a doubt. Fenton!!!! You think he,s up for stud ??????????? Hopefully not, too much dog for most to handle... Deer populations would be destroyed in a matter of weeks with his offspring running around. Be like Armageddon for deer 3 Quote Link to post

There was a dog called mutely owned by a muka that I would rate as the best all time dog as In could catch anything day or night, was there the day he broke his kneck on the third stag. Hit a fallen tree at 8 ish . Machine took all types teeth, bags of 30+ rabs and spin a strong hare. Very good dog. If was picking a dog for coursing I'd say luke very good strong runner don't think I seen him miss. If picking dog just for out and out lamping I'd prob say either that muka dog or my brother in laws field dog leny very good around dog. Not much ever got away one best catch to run ratio I've probly ever seen on the beam My pick of general mooching/ferreting probly be a dog that richard price owned called red ,failed fen dog but by dam he was perfect with the ferrets. Great mark catch any Bolter never disturb nets or never took them in the net .only if bolted. Always knew where to put his self and with out fail knew which holes they coming out of. Put alot of gear up hunted up also. And worked a long net superbly which is a real art to see a mutt do They be my pick Quote Link to post
