There was a guy posted on this forum that his beddy whippets could catch and hold fallow deer including bucks

there rabbit dogs why would any one get a beddy cross for any thing but rabbit some shite on here at times

Aye cos Beddy x's were only bred originally for rabbits ........ No chance! The beddyxgrey was one of the original fox x's, probs a lot more popular before the bull x.

 

And I got my tin hat ready ...... But them beddyxwhips mentioned .... Did knock fallow over. Tin hat on lol. Not saying it was a good idea, but it happened!

I seen beddywhippet xs catch fallow regular ,never on run or taken clean ,always hitting something and often they were worked in twos ,but I did see them hold fallow on their own against a fence a few times ,never once did they get close to a deer on the run but nearly every time I went out with them they caught fallow even if they were hitting things 100% of time.

I got a beddy whippet collie grey he 16 months old and shapeing up nicely, but u won't go far wrong with a beddy grey just hard to find bred out of good stuff.
