RiverRomper 15
Seem to be able to "bond" better with a AA TX200MKIII. This is unique to me. A Beeman(Weihrauch) 97BL is made for use on the Russian front. Tuning a Weihrauch turns it into an unbelievably good pellet pusher. Better than the Air Arms springer. Weihrauch is the last of the old-school pellet gun makers. Everything is sourced out of the factory by craft permanent employees. Warning: Either a new Air Arms or Weihrauch can be a disappointment out of the box. The upsurge in demand is thinning out the QC. Peace, hope this helps, RiverRomper Quote Link to post

Gaoler 83
Hello All, Having shot .22 in both of my current air rifles, HW100 & Falcon FN19, what is the trajectory like on .177 calibre? What will be the best distance to zero the HW 97 .177 (with a stage 1 tune) at? Thanks John... Edited August 5, 2013 by Gaoler Quote Link to post
Gaoler 83
Cheers I presume it will be a much flatter trajectory than the .22 calibre? Quote Link to post
Tron 173
Cheers I presume it will be a much flatter trajectory than the .22 calibre? No offence intended But that seems a poorly asked question?. Quote Link to post

GSkye 94
Personally I'd go for a .22, I think they're a good caliber for rabbits. From experience, I've taken pigeons and a squirrel or two down with one shot, dead instantly. I've never tried them but I've heard .177 can go in and out of animals before it kills them/bleed out. Obviously down to pellets too Grae Quote Link to post
The one 8,493
My uptake on it is .177 is a flatter faster pellet ?. where as the .22 has more stopping power ?. but its down to a personal preference 1 Quote Link to post

Check this out http://www.hawkeoptics.com/chairgun.html#.UgQq9tK-m8A It's ment for Hawke's kit but the software's easily doable with other folk's gear and the relative numbers will give you a good idea as to what's what.
