pianoman 3,587
If it had to be absolutely just the one spring underlever air rifle of all for hunting...... WEIHRAUCH HW77 .22 After trying Pro Sports and owning TX200s, there is no finer, more accurate underlever spring rifle than this German masterpiece. The HW97 is as good as a '77. But not better. 3 Quote Link to post

Couldn't agree more, that or the 97 (After trying Andy_C's) are both awesome. .177 isn't bad, just prefer .22. 1 Quote Link to post

keithy 0
Just got an almost new hw80k amazingly it shoots as good as my 97kt I am very surprised ,one hole groups at 30yds!! The silencer also does a good job the only noise you hear is from the internals. I got a friend to fire it and it is very quiet for a springer when you are stood along side it. Quote Link to post

Gaoler 83
Hello All, It looks like I will invest in the HW 97 Stainless on a synthetic stock, .177 Does the Stage 1 tune from Sandwell Field sports make a a big difference to how the HW 97 shoots? John... Quote Link to post
gosling1960 191
I would have thought the best way to go would be to visit your local dealer and handle the models you are interested in, then you could make a better informed decision. Quote Link to post
