Their are gunuine people out their. I don't agree with it my self with wild birds territory's etc and harsh winter etc it's not fair in my mind. Hope you find a good honest home for it.

lots of very good lads out their who work with them full time who would give him a safe good home. or some one who has had birds for 10 years and has now found him self bird less due to his last job commitments but is now looking for a new bird :whistling::whistling:

Millet I am on a squirrel job tomorrow and the old fella that's giving me a hand is one of the top goshawk boys in the country if you want the bird sorted I could ask him for you .......

joking aside mate, a goshawks life in the wild is usually short lived even when 100% fit so imagine the chances of a 7 year old captive bred one, best to put all your effort into finding a committed individual to take him on

I would give him a 50/50 chance in the wild jjm as he has killed all kind's of different quarry but them odd's are not good enough for me..and i have two people lined up to have a chin wag with.. :victory:

In my opinion, if the bird has hunted and caught plenty of game, it will probably do ok if it is released in a safe area away from shooters.

Remember, it won't have the handicap of having a falconer around, ie bells and hunting from a fist, etc.

It will quite happily sit in a tree and take out unsuspecting quarry, as long as there is quarry in that area.

Just my opinion.
