Hornady and Winchester ARE makes of ammo but in this case it is just terminology. i.e you can buy WMR ammo made my another manufacturer and same with HMR. Quote Link to post

The number part gives you the calibre and the letters give you the cartridge type.. Quote Link to post

Aah..the £6 million dollar question. In theory, yes. MY FAC says .22RF and my FEO is happy if I want to buy a wmr. My RFD said he would happily sell me one, but some forces are picky. 1 Quote Link to post
