BORDERSCOT 3,816
I would rather the dog be on a lead than try to call it off in a dangerous place I can't remember the last time my bitch went on a lead. She follows me to tesco 2 mile down the road and then sits outside waiting for me Someone will be away with it one day..... And I might get hit by a bus you seriously have no idea how many scum bags are walking about pal!!! there are people that walk about looking for thieving opportunities....you're leaving a dog outside a shop that a scummer could breed and pump out a litter worth hundreds in no time, they're not arsed that it's your pride and joy, trust me! no point being all cocky about it and then in a few months time sticking a post on here because you can't believe someone has nicked your dog...why risk it? Read the above post. I've done it 2 or 3 times. The world goes round. She's an ageing mongrly looking lurcher. I've took the chance a few times and she was there when I came out. FFS. I know exactly how many scum bags are about fella. So do I, and I wouldn't leave my dog outside a shop, not even once, not anywhere or at any time. That's fine Rob. I will start another thread for you later. "would you leave your dog outside tesco"... My last say on the matter......THAT is exactly what I mean about your cockiness pal, you commented about something that you do/have done (you didn't initially say you've only done it twice or whatever), people picked up on the fact that if you leave a lurcher outside a shop it's a dog theft waiting to happen, so they advise you to try and help you to stop your dog getting nicked, and all you can come back with it sarcy cocky comments. But like BS says, it's your dog, you know best. Be honest here Gaz....you mentioned you leave your dog outside Tesco....couple o folk pick it up and you get on your back tracking blase bike and end up having a pop at them......??? So what's the crack....??? Is no one allowed to disagree/criticise even dare suggest you might have been a bit silly???? You do come across as a bit of a prick sometimes...... But that's just my opinion and I am entitled to it.... 1 Link to post

I don't need nor want advise about my dog getting stolen from outside the shops. If I was a 10 year old boy then brilliant, enlighten me to the facts. If I had some mental disability or learning disability then also great, make sure I'm aware that naughty men pinch dogs. I'm a big boy and the people that have commented are well aware. What reply did you honestly expect from me if not cocky or sarcastic? "Oh thank you folks, I wasn't aware that people steal dogs". I shot a shotgun without ear protection last week, who's gonna tell me it could perforate an ear drums? Link to post
