I do all of the above and I don't " support" them......they don't represent me or anything I believe in and as an Englishman I find them a bit embarrassing I watched a short piece done by the BBC recently that was asking who/where was all this recent support for the EDL coming from and that found thousands of ex and serving M.O.D lads , are they embarrassing also........ When I represent myself as an Englishman I want to portray the best of my country & its traditions to outsiders not the worst so that is why they dont represent me and I find them embarrasing We are a country with a rich heritage, the nation of shopkeepers, naval heros, the empire and the monarchy, inventors and warrior kings, art and litrature..........I dont see how a bunch of beer swilling thugs, a good proportion of who cant string a sentence together, is a representation of that and I would rather they were not the face of my British heritage because if they are then it certainly is not worth preserving Why? You/we are what we/you are, brushing things under the carpet is false. The beer swilling thugs are a significant percentage of society (whether you like or dont like) & have been since beer was invented (from the middle east maybe! LOL).
