Tiercel 6,986
what are sprint nets guys Sprint set nets are only available from Messers Netrigger & Co, they are not cheap, (but if you want the best you have to pay) the net also comes with a pair of spiked running shoes (One pair per customer sizes 10 to 13 only) so that you can get the net out at the speed it was designed to be used. They also do a 5 day course (at an extra cost) just to teach you how to sprint the net out. TC Edited July 28, 2013 by tiercel 1 Quote Link to post
Mr Wilkes 2,983
Tc you forgot to mention that upon completion of the 5 day course you are awarded a certificate of competence (which opens all avenues) and a complementary bottle of scotlands finest whiskey. 1 Quote Link to post
netrigger 568
These are genuine nets! as long as the person setting these nets has a good set of Lungs as this is really important. Anyone who is partial to a Fag or a Drink My advice would be then there not for you unless one is prepared to carry the other component that goes with the set up which is an extra item and extra weight. Regards. 1 Quote Link to post

smithie 2,443
Fair play to you guys talking about setting hundred of yards of webbing if it comes to that for me its time for the snares or rimmy more often than not the max drop is 100 yds maybe 125 but i work with mr wilks so its not bad.. i dont have a rimmy and not good with a snare but thats by the by because i longnet for longnets sake. this is what i like to do.i have shot many rabbits and will continue to do so but if i get chance of a night on the nets or a night on the gun nets will win every single time...and i dont like quick/fast or speedy nets as it trad nets for me 2 Quote Link to post

How very remiss of me I put it down to my age, and the cider. I have heard a rumour though, that another company is planning to usurp Netrigger & Co's sprint set. I cannot go into details at the moment but watch this space. TC 1 Quote Link to post

Fat-Ferret 857
I have had as much craic putting small nets across breaks, runs and other gaps...And catching the odd rabbit here and there, than I have going armed to the teeth...And running out many yards of nets As long as you enjoy it Quote Link to post
