lawrence 657 Posted July 26, 2013 Report Share Posted July 26, 2013 just made a drop last night, its f##king beautiful, lovely to sip with a pint of stout or over crushed ice cocktail style, used red apple juice for last nights effort, hence the colour, the wee lad came in while i was making it and asked if there was any apple crumble left...its tastes like it smells. recipe poitin couple of litres of cider, any cheap barrack buster will do the same of apple concentrate drop of sugar cinnamon sticks vanilla pod bring the undiluted apple juice, cider, sugar( not to much), cinnamon and vanilla to the boil, simmer for 45. leave over night to cool , bung in a litre of poitin and bobs your uncle, no messing about with waiting times, thats it ready to swally. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
