First Pup

I have been looking into getting my first working pup, I know there is a lot of different x but wasn't sure what would be a good first pup to start off with

Depends what you'd like to do with it really. Are you after a dog to chase rabbits or a bushing dog to flush them? what area of hunting are you more interested in or do you want an "all rounder" type?

Ah okay well I'm sure people will be able to suggest some good ones for you. I'm still learning myself so not in a position to give accurate advise just yet, but Im looking for similar thing to you and I'm thinking about a collieX greyhound or X lurcher. Had one a long time ago as a kid and remember her being sharp! Plus collie give them brains and I'm going to be after a dog I can train easily as a first timer to the game myself.
