good on you. what make is the gun?

I'm not sure mate. Bullx100% is the lad I was out with. I'm sure he will comment on here.

Looks like a Hatsan Escort! Those guns get such bad stick, never had a problem with mine! Good shooting, you thinking about getting into it more now?

finding one which fires 7 and halfs is the problem mate thats why they get so much stick when you find one which cycles 7 and halfs your on to a winner...

Ye try 60 or 70 you might find one that works for a bit :hmm:

ive tred two and found 1 lol

that's mighty fine shooting for someone who's never really shot before, where they on the move or did you manage to catch em before they could get started? I started shooting shotguns again about 6 months ago after a break of 20 odd years and couldn't hit Jack, had a morning on clays and hit 6 out of 50 :cray: oh the shame of it !! got myself a second hand Remington 1100 and rough shooting and decoying is my bag, can hit at least 70% in the field, funny how can't hit the clays though?

Cheers Pal. One I took out of its seat and the other was on the run.

We went out last night for a bit of rough shooting. I went and left my ear defenders in the car so I took it steady and let Kev have most of the shots. I shot a pigeon coming over head, missed with first shot but dropped it with the second and like i say i didnt take any more shots after that - combination of not wanting to perforate an eardrum and not seeing much about.

When i went on the clays last year we did 100 cartridges each (me and my missus) over 10 different stations, some were simulating birds flying over head, others simulated rabbits running along the ground etc.

I scored as follows...

Station 1 - 7/10

Station 2 - 6/10

Station 3 - 9/10

Station 4 - 7/10

Station 5 - 7/10

Station 6 - 10/10

Station 7 - 9/10

Station 8 - 7/10

Station 9 - 9/10

Station 10 - 5/5 (I gave my lady 5 of mine cuz she hadnt hit much, Lol)

I think thats pretty good, we had a mentor/coach going around with us and he didnt say a great deal but my missus was averaging 1 or 2 out of 10 so i considered myself pretty good! Lol.

Cheers

sort of depends on what they say and what budget that takes me to as another rifle is my first priority.

golf club fees come next in terms of large outages

after that then the shotty.

Thats the trouble with having had no work for 5 months until a few weeks ago. All builds up

Me and my dad both have one, not a trouble with either, cycles anything for me, probably wont do 21gr loads but why would i use them? Im speaking in terms of game loads etc, wouldn't want to use it as a clay gun anyway. Perfect hide/fowling gun. Currently putting 28gr gamebore velocity through it for the pigeons, not had an hiccup!
