Bornhunter, i am shocked you don't see the merits of a good skip dive !

I've had some cracking skip finds, from a 6 foot fish tank, down too a clean brick !

i once made a living from stuff out of skips, unreal what can be found if you know where to look, everything from ex display fitted kitchens to carpet tiles

Fcking skip dipping is my dads speciality, I've seen just his boots hanging out of the top whilst he's upside down rooting on numerous occasions...... Lol

Very tidy Paulus, mine kind of moves where it's ready to burst and chuck all the gear all over the garden lol..

My mate works on the skips, you honestly wouldn't believe what gets chucked out! One of the best finds was a limited edition collectible 007 DB5 model in a display case, the owner had had his garage roof collapse and just threw everything out because it was dusty! Think he got a fair bit for that on eBay.

I would never throw any wood away that's not rotten.

Car/motorbike/fishing magazines, I like leafing through them every decade or so!

Fishing tackle, even crappy old reals that I know I'll never ever use.

Pieces of wire netting...you never know when it's going to be useful!.

I hate chucking anything that could still potentially be used!

not a hoarder, bin all the shite.

Sometimes I see something that I think will be usefull but as a rule if it's not got a job it goes. I hate the attitude "we'll keep it because it might come in use, just put it over there".

"CRAP, CRAP AND MORE FECKING CRAP! BIN IT, BURN IT OR FECKING USE IT!" :censored::D

Do either of you guys own a hammer, handsaw, tape measure, set of spanners, etc? :D.

no saw, have a tape.no spanners why would i ever need them.there a claw hammer hanging on the back fence, been there for a year, watched it slowly going nice and shiny to rust.lol
