Malt 379
Just reading this thread by Stealthy in the ferret section about building an extension to his ferret housing out of his pile of wood: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/296026-this-and-that/ As it says on that thread, it's deffo a man thing to hoard stuff that is too good to throw away! Just thinking about some of the things I hoard in the shed and in my man draw in the kitchen: Various bits of timber. Tray full of assorted bolts that just seems to keep getting bigger, dont know where they keep coming from, no bloody nuts to go on them though! Tray full of assorted screws, same as the bolts - I don't know where they appear from! Any length of rope or twine that is long enough to be useful at some point. Few bits of electrical flex/co-ax cable/assorted electrical fittings/plugs/bulbs/etc Batteries ..and a few other things probably! What kind of things does everybody else hoard, or are you the type to chuck everything away?

paulus 26
The "it might come in useful one day" syndrome is the worse one, i have suffered for years, symptoms include, large sheds that you are unable to enter due to them being jammed to the gunnels with useful stuff , The inability to pass a skip without the overwhelming urge to jump in and have a root about, coming back from the local refuse tip with more in the car than you went with. I must have taken over 3 tons of timber and other shit to the tip that I had stashed in the garage roof
