On the wheat stubble with the s400

Went out again this afternoon on some wheat fields that were cut last sunday. I was set up in the hedge by 3pm. The birds were flying into the few deeks id put out but were shying away at the last minute i couldnt figure out what was wrong. Then i realized id left the flask of drink outside of the hide and that was what they could see . Once that was sorted the pigeons and doves were landing about 25 yards out missed alot more than i shot i packed it in at 6.

No mate i havnt noticed any leaking its the only regret i have about getting the s400 instead of the s410 is the fact i only have 1 shot instead of 10

Got a 410 a short while back, love it.

Although every now and then it will fire a pellet way off target.

Could be the pellets i suppose, been using Logun perpetrators and Field and Target Trophy, which seem as good as owt.

Been using a Logun foot pump as well, again, seems pretty good.

i was using eley wasp but have now switched to the air arms field diablo and having alot better croupings getting single hole groups at 20 yards firing from a rest

I use crossman acupells best i've used with s410 so far...

Where's the air coming from?

 

Is it a gradual leak or is it dumping the air?
