Hello,

I depends in what price range your'e looking.

I have a hawke panorama wich i think is very good. Also the endurance has to be a good scope. Both have much better glass then the nite eye i think.

On my air rifle i have a optisan/mtc mamba. That is also a very very nice scope with a beter illuminated dot then on the hawkes.

If you go for good optic's a leupold would be very good but maybe a bit overdone at a hmr?

But the mtc and panorama i can both recommend.

Something like this would be the best i think: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zeiss-Terra-3X-2-7x32-Riflescope-Z-Plex-Ret-Hunting-Turret-Compact-Low-Profile-/370851376440?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item565876ed38

I have a nico-sterling game king 3-9x40 on my .22 wmr and its very clear at night. what kind of lamp are you using? I use light force and its great with that but I also have an led rifle mounted lamp 200 mtr rang and its not so good with the led lamp.

my nikko stirling game king only cost 90 euro that's like £85 I know its a cheep scope but its very good. I paid 350 euro for a hawk scope a few years back and I prefer the nikko s. it hasn't lost zero yet and I have it a year or so.

the scope is great with light force 170 that's what I use except I don't use the red filter.

pentax is another cheep but good scope.

put the new scope on and what a pain, the scope is bril zeroed it in a 50yds then tried it out to 70 yds could not it the target it was a mile out, scratching my head, I striped it down again got the sprit level and found that the mounts were leaning to the left reversed them and it lent to the right, so went on you tube and found that this is a problem with cz 452 with this particular scope mounts they recommend bkl mounts to solve it as they are a solid mount and have no clapping plate has the clapping plate pulls it over to one side or the other lesson learnt don't buy cheap shit.

so if your having problems zeroing your rifle at different distances check your mounts.
