hftjoe97 5
i am currently debating on which one of these two scopes to buy just wondering if anyone has tried both of these and which one do you think is better Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
The Panorama series are really superb for an air rifle scope. I have the 4-12x50 IR AO with half-mill dot reticle. Lovely and compact for keeping weight down. Have a look at the Hawke Sport HD series too. Really great value for money scopes. 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,468
I always try to buy the biggest scope i can for drawing in the light if you do a lot of lamping i would look at 4x12x50 as every little helps 1 Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
Was talking to my rfd about the better air gun scopes on the market and he said both of these scopes. I probably buy the varmint as I like the 44mm front lense as its not to big and rarely shoot over x8 mag. Plus the side wheel is a lot easier to use less fiddley Quote Link to post
BenjaminCadd 109
I was going to get the varmint but get onto uttings.com they have a sale and you can buy a digi nite eye for just over £100 and they are a top quality scope, also i would always choose side focus now! Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
The varmint is a good scope for the money, and great for ratting.however I do find the ret a bit cluttered, go for the panorama think you will be happy with the choice 4 Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
I've had them both and they both work well, but the Panorama beats the Varmint hands down in regards to glass and clarity. So much so that i have 3 Panorama EVs now and 3 Sidewinders. 2 Quote Link to post
