Super Dogs, Where's The Bitches?

Had a crack with a top Greyhound Trainer a few years ago, he had a brood Bitch that produced open racers in every litter, to different Sires,

I don't think he would have tried it, but he reckoned he could have used any dog, and she would still produced the goods.

 

thats strange as a greyhound trainer told me that story only the bitch was a dog :laugh::laugh:

Sounds more of a sales pitch more than anything :D

If that's your point I think you have already answered it, there is not as much wonga to be made from stud fees. Plenty good bitch's out there :yes:

:laugh: its funny how we are all different. If I had a good dog I'd be keeping it quiet.... Like I do the now :laugh:

deff , why breed if 1 parent not as good as the other,? if you want top pup. so the bitch got to be as good as the dog, or you bought 2nd rate pup, you dont need much brains to work that out.?

That's the point I'm making mate. You only hear of these super dogs when there are loads of good bitches and other dogs. Why folk get sucked in with sales patter is beyond me.

What gets me is why some would big up their dogs to the high heavens, post loads of pics on an open forum then a few months down the line moan that its been pinched. You are just asking for trouble IMO ! I got a 3/4 chihuahua 1/4 whippet x 5/8 Yorki 3/8 greyhound taking everything from 4 months old but you don't here me bragging about it ;)
