heard a rumble this morning but it was just her letting rip

Probably not the longest thunderstorm ever, but certainly the longest I've known: started around 1am last night and is still going strong now, and talk about rain! Coming down in sheets: gutters overf

Woke up 20 mins ago and it's raining but I didn't hear any thunder whatsoever in the night.....I'll be well gutted if I've slept through it, I love a good thunder storm!!!

And now the sun has come out again: getting warmer and warmer by the minute. Trust me to be on holiday for the weirdest two weeks of the year: last week too hot to do anything, and now underwater

I'd rather run down a side board than paint lol, fkn hate it with a passion.

I don't mind doing a bit got a big workshop in the garden -- I take the lap top in stick the radio on --keeps me busy I do 8 antique fairs a year brings in a wage for doing something I enjoy ---got one next Monday with a bit of luck I`ll make enough to pay for my daughter to get through her last year at uni..I`m a painter and decorator by trade so the bedroom I could knock out in a few hours..

That's how I imagine retirement Stig. I don't think I ever want to properly retire, but it would be nice to 'retire' but still do a bit of something I enjoy for myself and to hopefully turn over a tidy second income. I've just got to figure out what that thing is, LOL.

An old mate of mine's dad from Grantham did/does the same. Gave me a couple old books that weren't worth much on keepering.
