True story this, The last village i lived in before here, the old rectory came up for sale, now being a rectory, as you would expect it was on a plot right next to the church, It was purchased by a couple who had retired from their jobs in the city for a quiet life in the country. within weeks they were complaining about the church bells, and there was the complaint about the hearse parking outside their gates during funerals i kid you not,

this where we are to soft.no one in the village should of spoke to them none of the shops,

pubs, milkmen or any other services local should of give them access to any local services

they'd soon get the message. fit in or f**k off

the trouble is people are only to willing to sell their homes for plenty of cash ! Also no ones gonna turn down money in the pubs and shops either . Basically if someone's got the money someone in your village will take it.

lol city folk can't win can they ! If they try and get rid of the immigrants by sending to the countryside you don't like that , and if they themselves try and get away from the city's yous don't li

If they stopped giving all the foreigners houses we would be ok

Live in the city, work as a solicitier, investment banker, lawyer etc. . . . . .   Then move to the country, buy up a farm, to play about on, chop it up and sell it for horse paddocks, then sell of

well if that's the way they look at it & money's more important than their way of life

then they can't complain when their way of life changes, this is where the french

system of a mayor works well as he will be a local & have local interests at heart
