Millet 4,497
I think i have been ripped of with these finches and i'm sure they are part Rhode island red's.. ..they just wont stop laying egg's..i wonder if they are eating the layer's pellet's that i put on the aviary floor for the quail.. ...please please stop after this lot.. .. Here is a nest of 6 greenfinch egg's and the chick hatched today..but i don't know who they belong too as both hen's have been taking turn's on the nest..one good thing about that though is they will be getting fed of 3 parent bird's.. ..if all 6 hatch and make it to fledge that will be 17 chick's from 2 hen's..but one of the hen's has only raised 1 chick..so the green Greenie will have knocked 16 young out if all these egg's are her's.. Here is a nest of Redpoll egg's..this is this hen's 4th attempt and she has yet to hatch any.. And this is a third clutch of goldie mule's..

forest of dean redneck 11,609
I often wondered about keeping them,I liked the jap quail apart from them killing each other,I thought the seramas would be similar but less likely to attack each other?
Millet 4,497
The Jap quail are evil fooker's at times but the little serama are spot on if introduced together or gradualy..
