socks 32,253
Well I for one say fair play to them for making a point .... Girls can wear skirts or trousers but lads can't wear shorts ... What a load of bollox ... It's boiling hot and they have to be in trousers when they could easily be allowed to wear shorts ... Some jumped up head master being a wanker I reckon ... Good lads ... Only in Wales lol .......
skycat 6,173
Well done those lads for making a statement. Apparently it was train drivers in Sweden who first wore skirts in protest at not being allowed to wear shorts: they got the rules changed That headmaster needs sacking. NEWKID 27,047
Are all the welsh lads wearing skirts to the comp then lol... I'm sure socks likes wearing some dodgy get ups??? Lol Ok I get the making a stance thing, but there's no way I'd let my lad go to school in a dress, if I was that concerned I'd keep him home,....
johnny boy68 11,726
Kept my oldest off school last week because they weren't allowed to take there blazers off, yet teachers are allowed to wear shirt sleeved shirts........some of the rules on schools these days are crazy.
Its_grim_up_norf 577
they better get used to being told what to wear, im a plumber/heating engineer and get told what to wear great big thick trousers with knee pads in, and a t shirt. As i work for a reasonably big company i cant be cutting about in shorts and vest like some one man bands, but i get on with it. Im all for allowing school kids to wear shorts, we used to get away with the grey/black ones when i went to school. But i think they better have a large glass of harden the f**k up when they leave school, as they don't look far off that age.
lapin2008 1,587
it would take a pretty stupid headmaster to not allow shorts for the hot weather period.. someone that takes their job and the dress code a little too serious.. but... going to the point of wearing a skirt... and fainting to prove the point... i think is a bit too dramatic

Big contractor on the job, he had to wear at all times, long trousers, shirt, hi viz, hard hat, gloves and goggles.. He was up on the roof in a real sun trap and it was red hot , ended up with heat exhaustion and was in a bad way for couple of days.. Site agents for big firms have no common sense at times.. The same as some of these head masters ( wearing a blazer Ffs Johnny, you should have put him in a dress lol)..,
Outlaw Pete 2,224
No, no! Sorry, lads. I seem to have mislead you all You see, I really have no interest what so ever in this 'silly season' story. I couldn't care less what school boys wear to school. No, the question I was pondering was whether it was wrong that I took one look at the tits on the woman in the pink top and cracked one off there and then

But you cant argue with them unfortunately. turn up in a skirt, get sacked and replaced within the hour. Children in school yes, but these lads are easily 15 years old. Not what Id class as children.
