scothunter 12,609
you would have thought anyone with an ounce of sense would,be even more attentive towards a bird or any animal that was especially left in your charge in weather like this.

When you have animals/birds and you go away you have to rely on friends/family. I'm sure it never crossed the boys mind that his cousin would be such a lazy b*****d!!This post is to Torchey by the way.

socks 32,253
On a few occasions when i Have been working away I have had to leave one of the dogs and a few of the ferrets behind and my missus and kids have been away visiting family so I have obviously had to rely on mates BUT before I go I make sure that the animals have plenty of water and a good feed so EVEN IF my mates didn't bother to go around they would still be fine ........... Dogs are different from birds where water is concerned I'd say. You could leave enough water for a week if you want but the dog could spill it the minute you leave. f**k knows why there's a debate here really.... Guys done nothing wrong apart from ask the wrong person to look after his bird.
