trenchfoot 4,243 Posted July 29, 2013 Report Share Posted July 29, 2013 I sold my PCP's (except a Skan, which a mate gave me). For pure pest control, they will always be a better bet than a springer. But when using a well set up springer, there is a level of satisfaction that no PCP, i have come across, can ever replicate. With modern mildot scopes and plenty of correct practice there is no reason that they can reach out to most things that any 12ftlb air rifle is intended for. And with regard to weight, the more the better with a springer, where you put that weight is a matter for another time 1 Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,813 Posted July 29, 2013 Report Share Posted July 29, 2013 As you know jjm i shoot both pcp and spring rifles and for the pcp being more accurate i can and have missed rabbits and pigeons with both pcp and the crow sport but i do preffer the pcp if im honest but i can shoot a springer just as good as i have proved with some of my posts on hear nice to see you got her back mate O, and keep her this time atvb your mate mac Quote Link to post
