Good Experiences Rws/rossler Titan 6?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just ordered a lef handed titan 6 luxes in .243 with a semi weight barrel. Now i am looking at the forum and found some old topic's of the titan. There i see allot of negative things about the titans. But in test reports it's all possitive.

My question: Are there any guys out here that shoot a titan 3 or 6 with good experience? Here in holland i don't know anyone shooting it so.

I can't wait to have it.

Putted a swarovski z6i 2.5-15x56 on top of it so i hope i just ordered a dream combination.

NEVER trust a test report ! Think about it magazine's survive on advertising, a negative report for a product equals that company stops advertising in said magazine .

A friend of mine had a Titan 6 and it was not a rifle it was a tube that had a breach on it ! would not group with two different scopes and loads of ammo types. The importer eventually game him his money back , and he bought a Tikka.

Had the 3 in 22.250 load of Sh--t one day i could hit a Crow at 200 yards the next miss a fox at 70. tried everything reloads shop bought after 6 months sold it a £ 100 loss and glad it was gone nothing more frustrating when you have a rifle you can't trust.

Hello,

Another horror story in my eyes. Since im a lefty i dont have much choiche in rifles.

I looked at the tikka t3 but really liked a heavy barrel with a wood stock in lefthanded. So i ended up with the titan.

How long ago you had the titan? I see more bad revieuws on them but most of them are more then 3 years old.

Heavy barrel and wood stock.

If you don't want stainless or laminate then the plain version is available left handed also:

I have a friend who has a friend with a .223 and he says its a tack driver at 300 yards.

Are you looking for one or two good reports to convince yourself its a good move .? ...if there are lots of sh.t reports sounds like your in with a fair chance of buying a sh.t rifle ...the scope is a top piece of kit , think I would be looking at a sako as well ..good luck with it ..

Hello, thats not how i came to order this weapon. First of course i read the reviews and tests and they were all positive, then i started looking at german topics which also where good. So i ordered the gun. But then on english forums i started to notice some bad reviews. But also some good ones. So i was just asking for more reviews.

If i had the money i would have bought a sako. But here in Holland there is another 500 euro diffence between the two. Also i asked about a left handed sako and the gunsmith told me it was not available in varmint.

Are you sure it is available in left hand?

The way i look at the pdf it is not. Because behand righthand/ it says: xs and s (action) and lefhand has a -

If you look at the different models they all say the same: Lefthand: - so if you are right it means that sako makes every model in left hand.

In my opinion is the only left handed sako available the hunter 85 left hand.

That whas also what the gunsmith told me. He thought titan was a good rifle. Sold a few in holland and all great.

Also the sako's are much more expensive than the titan. Since a bought a really expensive scope i found another 500 euro more for the rifle to much.
