rob284 1,682
Problem is, paid or not, some genuine people can't get their hand on good stock anyway! Most of the time your paying for shite. give up your latest mobile phone, stay of pop for a few weeks and you will have the coin sell your xbox?if you want something enough its not out of your reach-dont understand why anyone would go on preloved etc looking for a working dog-if your that stupid then buy the dream if not-find someone who has what you want-pm them and be patient-the best things come to those who wait and if people didnt broadcast the breeding of their dogs allover the net, then these peddlar cnuts wouldt have all the right names to drop just a thought Problem is, paid or not, some genuine people can't get their hand on good stock anyway! Most of the time your paying for shite. theres a common phrase on here go's along the lines of "if your not in the know then you just wont know" my advice would be to get in the know i have 'gotten in the know' and have been 'in the know' lads round me generally dont breed their dogs, and most of them have packed it up. found what i wanted a couple of weeks ago, and waiting for the pup to be ready, im just saying, it aint easy to get what you want, even if your paying. Wales1234 5,490
If I was ready for a terrier pup I would be speaking to lads that are doing it regular ask to see the parents working and would mind waiting a year if needs be and money wouldnt be a issue for top quality stuff because usually grt what you pay for and that pup will give some cracking days inthe future Quote Link to post
the_stig 6,614
15 years, yourself to yourself???? so in them 15 years maybe you should have taken time to have helped others yourself rather than keeping yourself to yourself, maybe then you would not of found yourself in this position. what you are saying is you want pups/youngsters for free from people you don`t know. i may have read your posts wrong but that's what i can gather!! 15 year in the game and down to one dog --I think in that time I`d have kept a bitch bred the odd litter kept a few pups myself and gave a few away ...forward planning ... Im on the look out for new dogs to bring on or dogs that are ready to start .but it seems unless ppl are willing to pay silly money for pups that are bred right then theres no hope for me in the future of working terriers wich i live with a passion . And i dont want to be buying other ppls rubbish if u no what i mean Dazsurely if your diggin 15 years then you earned enough respect to get giftrd a pup or two Edited July 21, 2013 by mr scent Quote Link to post

BIG G wheton machine 1,594
if you haven't the money for the decent bred pups then how about helping out a fella either by helping make new runs, feeding, cleaning up or helping him walk and train the dogs respect doesn't just have to be earned by how many holes you drop in a field, if you were decent natured enough then theres other ways of earning peoples trust. but if you want something badly enough then cost shouldn't come into it. I made a few whelping boxes for my mate at the hunt and didn't ask for anything because it all helps out and its nice to be nice, well a few wks down the line and he rings me up and says your pup is ready, im like what fking pup I don't want a pup. he says ive kept you the only pup that survived fron the liter for helping him out but I said I didn't want anything for that it cost me nothing to do it well he says he as greatful and was decent because I didn't charge him so 17 mnths later the we terrier is working away happily for me. and it didn't cost me a penny he even gave me the jabs aswell. 6 Quote Link to post

Dont ask what they can/will do to you-give it from your hart! thanks. that's true, these days bitchie, theres too many out on the stroke and its all about themselves, everybody wants something for nothing but do not want to help out anybody in return. good manners and being nice to people doesn't cost any money but can get you a long way. in dogs theres too many arse holes out peddling useless shite telling lies, so if you buy a dear dog your more likely to hold onto it than sell it for top dollar. I was just offering advice to the op that ask not what people can do for you ,but what you can do to help others, and maybe by taking a less selfish approach in life then he might get what hes after.
