walshie 2,804
Glub glub! All went without a hitch. Turns out the sneaky b*****d "mate" of mine used to work for a powerboating team and actually knows a little more than he let on. I thought it was odd when he was tying "nautical" knots without even looking what he was doing. Worst that happened to me today was a bit of a burnt swede. Things I've learnt today. Bow = front. Stern = back. Lager and sun = headache.

Believe Me He Didnt When We Docked Yet The Scottish Lad Just Sat There Not A Care In The World lol . . I Was Walking As If I Was Still On The Boat Hrs After Getting Off !! I was like that for days after a night time half speed crossing from Portsmouth to Cherborg once, I know exactly how you feel! Aye the Irish sea is choppy at the best of times, gets rough as hell here when you leave the Milford Haven waterway and get out onto the heads about 10 miles or so after leaving port at Pembroke dock on the ferry.. Went with a load of boys from work once when I was an apprentice. One of the lads only just made his mind up about coming because he was so worried about being seasick, he was shitting himself as we were getting onto the ferry! The boat takes about an hour more to get to the Irish sea from the port, it can only go so fast because the waterway is full of oil tankers and other traffic, and after about 20 minutes, this lad brightened up and thought 'This ain't so bad after all!' sat down and had a chicken curry in the diner. When we hit the heads and the boat started moving on the swell, the fecking curry came straight back up and the poor fecker spend the trip over to Ireland curled up in the foetal position as low down in the boat as he could get! He was fine on the way back after we'd had a load of beer on board!
NEWKID 27,159
Been quite fortunate not to suffer from seasickness... Took a coloured lad out fishing with us one day, was about 20 miles off wrecking... Nice steady swell, turns around the black lads gone white, then green lol... He looked funny as fck proper colour change ( tirned into michael jackson before your eyes lol) Hes got it ripped out of him ever since, fair play to him though, he kept fishing, was spuing all day, hung over the side reeling up and spuing at the same time lol... I used to really f**k my first wife off, with my ability to hold a perfectly normal conversation between throwing my ring up. Spewing up is a natural function and doesn't bother me in the least. Get it the f**k out of ye!
