help needed

hi lads, i recently purchased a fn 19 8 shot fac, i got 2 mags with it and there a nightmare, this morning i put two mags through it and no problems, then on the third i must have double cocked it and got 5 or 6 pellets stuck, i also think iv'e blown the seals in my gun as i tried to fire with no mag in the hope it would clear and it didn't, same thing happned to my mate and he blew his seals and it cost him £70. to get the gun sorted, any advice on how to get pellets out without damaging barrel and to check if seals are gone. cheers keith

Take the gun to your local gun shop, they will have a look at it for you, im sure theyle be able to sort it

they should come out with a cleaning rod, go easy and don't rush into anything, you could end up doing damage to the barrel.

cheers lads, my mate also said use a ceaning rod, where can i get one for a .22? he'll sort seals for me if there gone. those 8 shot mags are a headbanger, drive me crazy, it will take me a while to get used to them. cheers for the info lads, keith

my mate used a BBQ scure the 0ther day he had about 5 or 6 stuck in his barrel

I've used a metal coat hanger, unravelled, made straight pop a pellet on the end so as not to scrape the barrel as it goes in and bobs yer uncle.
