Moran 10 Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 Hi everyone I'm new to this page and was wondering if any one can help me an a mate are going to start sea fishing from shore we have surf caster and rock caster rods we are going to be fishing around Dumfries for mackerel cod pollock and bass with any luck but don't have a clue what riggs we should be buying apart from feathers for mackerel we have fished before just river and lake fishing mainly fly we are going to test the waters next weekend so need to be getting rigs and lures sorted and as there are no good shops round me I have to order of interweb so all help would be very welcome thanks Quote Link to post

NEWKID 27,088 Posted July 24, 2013 Report Share Posted July 24, 2013 Maybe get up a local playing field early morning and practice casting mate, put a 4 or 5 oz lead on and get casting with your new gear...
