andyfr1968 772
I see you're in Yorkshire? Me too. Quite a few of the rabbits on a couple of my permissions have been getting wise and are now wearing full body armour and kevlar helmets. Try using AP rounds or high explosive pellets. They work for me. that must be dem black ones I've seen then. Probably. They seem to be having some supply issue though, I think, because with some of them their kit doesn't seem to fit properly and there's a gap between the suite and the helmet that a well placed shot can get through. Watch out for them and go for a neck or spine shot. 1 Link to post
Maf 22
You've got about the size of a 2p piece to hit between the back of the rabbits eye and the base of its ears, you should maybe try shooting bottle tops instead of the whole bottle, until you can hit a bottle top every time at 30 yards Then you might stand a chance in dropping them Atb rc1 to be honest I'm a bit disapointed with power in these air guns I thought you could hit em anywhere. Was expecting legs etc to be blown off. Poor do really. 1 Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Hi all I am looking for sum help I have been using an air rifle to shoot rabbits but the buggers just seem to hop or dart away. I'm sure I'm hitting them cos I am quite consistant when shooting milk bottles in my garden I usually hit them half the time from 30feet . Advice welcome. Buy a proper rifle and learn to shoot with it. You are not consistent. You are only half as good as you think you are -and that's a generous assessment. I only hope you aren't hitting anything with a heart and a nervous system yet! 4 Link to post

If you genuinely want to get into hunting, I think you need to grow up first, nobody genuine wishes for legs to be blown off thats just weird or you are an anti trying to provoke people into saying stuff they shouldnt 3 Link to post
