Maf 22 Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 Hi all I am looking for sum help I have been using an air rifle to shoot rabbits but the buggers just seem to hop or dart away. I'm sure I'm hitting them cos I am quite consistant when shooting milk bottles in my garden I usually hit them half the time from 30feet . Advice welcome. Link to post

Quite a few of the rabbits on a couple of my permissions have been getting wise and are now wearing full body armour and kevlar helmets. Try using AP rounds or high explosive pellets. rabbitcatcher 1 287 Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 You've got about the size of a 2p piece to hit between the back of the rabbits eye and the base of its ears, you should maybe try shooting bottle tops instead of the whole bottle, until you can hit a bottle top every time at 30 yards Then you might stand a chance in dropping them Atb rc1 1 Link to post
