ArchieHood 3,692
Sounds like a sticky bottle valve............Why are you removing the bottle? Quote Link to post

ArchieHood 3,692
Personally I would leave the bottle on the gun, 160 + shots not enough............... 1 Quote Link to post
kanny 21,100
I don't know about the r10 but you normaly have to discharge the air left in the rifle to close the bottle valve on other rifle models its normally something like 3 turns of you bottle then a few dry fires until empty .... im sure one of the r10 boys will be along soon to put you right you should be able to download a pdf operating manual for the gun from bsa if you don't have one atb kanny Quote Link to post
porkybella 284
Thats right bud three turns then about 5 -6 dry fires until empty. As you have to let the air out the regulator. Your not doing the rifle any good fully unscrewing it. Atb rob Quote Link to post
AR177 588
why do you take it off thought there was a fill probe on r10s? ... are you sure you havent bought a superten? Quote Link to post

one-in-the-net 24
could it be because it was filled once then sat a year doing nothing ? will the botlle hold air when i re fill it ? Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
Personally wouldn't bother fan young around with another bottle I'd just buy a 400cc rapid bottle and fit it if your not getting enough shots, the big bottle on my s16 had a funny value if it was over 180bar it was fine any less it would just leak out Quote Link to post
XTX 0
The valves on the buddy bottles are prone to leaking when they have very little air in them, they rely on the air pressure in the bottle to seal the valve. The bottles won't leak when on the rifle unless the rifle itself has a leak. Quote Link to post
