Same with most, ground rock hard here in most places, the heat is a killer any time after 6 am. I get out over boggy fields next to bogs where its a bit softer from about 4 am to 6, then around 10 to 11pm, when its at its coolest. Once we get some rain and the ground softens a bit., ill be out..

Way to soon to start yet. It don't take six weeks to get a dog fit. Too dam hot too

I like to build them gradually six weeks is about right I think . I always remember my rugby days I know it's warm but it ain't gonna kill them or me done right.

It'll be this weather tiny, no use to man nor beast. I'm struggling to get anything done. Except a few cold ones at tea time ;)

Thats what it is Fazza. High late crops and this heat i normal get in from work cool down for a few hours with a few cold uns as you say and have a wonder around 9 ish at night for an hour or so when it cools down that bit
