Major Badger 2
Hi fishermen! Does anyone know of any areas in Dorset or East Devon that are fishing well for mackeral off the beach next week? Ive been boat fishing from Weymouth a few times in the last 5-6 years, but Weymouth doesn't seem to be fishing as well as it did when I first started, so I was thinking perhaps Beer/Lyme Regis, or even Ilfacombe? Any suggestion or info greatfully recieved. Cheers Dave Quote Link to post
NEWKID 27,691
Budleigh beach always produces mate, it's deep straight off the pebbles... Not sure about Lyme Regis but chesil beach normally has a good run too.. Wait till the end of the week for the evening high tides.. Quote Link to post

NEWKID 27,691
They're allround Lyme bay now mate, A lad I know was catching them 10 yards off the beach at Budleigh which is west from Branscombe right round to Berry head, pick an evening high tide and fish a beach with a bit of water infring if you and you'll bag..
