the old dogs do come up now and again, but its a case of holding out and waiting.

i also got a bsa scorpion se that had been bought brand new, sent of for a blue print. it came back and fired 4 mags of pellets in the guys back garden, then he put it in a cupboard for 6 months before selling it to me for £300 including a decent gun bag. that rifle was as accurate as anything I've ever shot. after doing a 40 shot string, there was a 3fps variance. it was phenomenal. i sold it on for a profit to a guy that had bought a mk 1 r-10. and he was left handed, but thought he would be able to use it with a right handed stock. but with the scorpion having a synthetic ambi stock he was alright. he had been trying to sell the r-10 set up for a couple of weeks bit was really struggling. no one wanted it. he would of sold it to me for next to nothing, it was mint condition, a top of the range hawke scope. and a pump. would of let it go for 250. i told him to hang on to it for a couple of weeks then re-advertise it. think he got 450 a week or to later. so they do come up pal.

the scorpion came a very close second to the hw 100 pal. im not even sure if i judged them fairly on performance either ????. think the reason i opted to keep the 100 over the scorpion was the fact that i bought it brand new. is was only a couple of months old, and the cocking mechanism on the 100 is much better. but the best shot i ever pulled off was with the scorpion. there was nothing in it accuracy wise.

i have an ultra se at the min. its good but i would deffo swap it for the scorpion back. lol

the scorpion was in my opinion a much butter rifle than the raider. having said that, i took loads of rabbits and squirrels with my turkish built raider.

It says it has a built in silencer on the raider I just like it for the price ! You say you had a pump how was that to use? I had an early one on my logun axsor I had ten years back I can remember it being hard work!

What would the raider compare too

The raider single shot that i have will shoot as good as eny pcp even the top dogs like the hw100 and the rest you ask what the raider will compare to easy ALL OF THEM as i would not get rid of mine ever she will shoot as good or even out shoot the best atvbmac

I may well be placing an order a new en in 1.77 I don't have much of a budget so I'm thinking just the gun then a bay scope n mounts then a bottle should imagine a pump is a night mare

Seeing it in the flesh makes me want to change my mind again it looks bloody lovely adjustable buttpad your s turkish ? I don't think they make single shot anymore and twin shot is .22 only

What would the raider compare too

If you buy a new one as iv looked into this at the gun shop as i know the owner very well and he said the problems they had have all been sorted but the price has gone up abit to atvbmac
