matt101 115 Posted July 16, 2013 Report Share Posted July 16, 2013 Hello, There has been a massive increase in the number of rats around my poultry pens recently so i decided to get my mate over with his nitesite ns250. We stuck it on my rapid 17 and in the end we had 5 a-piece with two rats managing to get down some nearby holes. The rifle is in 177 so most shots were to the head where possible (one chest shot), all went down pretty quickly though. As you can see we took one large female and the rest were juveniles. Still plenty around but this should have made a dent in their numbers. All in all i had a good night and it was good to get the rapid out again as it had been a while. ATB 3 Quote Link to post

Looking forwards to doing a bit of bunny bashing over the next few weeks, my mates parents have had a baby boom on their land, so ill get some photos of that hopefully. although I'm going to save the majority of them for the ferreting season. When the stock was being made i was constantly updated by the maker through out the build and to see the stock emerge from a block of wood was great, well worth the cash. ATB Quote Link to post

Well worth the money in my eyes, fits much better and its so much more comfortable than the standard stock. I think I saw a variety of rifles when I was browsing through his gallery so it's worth getting hold of him. To be honest I can't see why he couldnt make a stock for most rifles if he had the dimensions of the action. Yeh not far at all, just over the bridge! ATB Quote Link to post
