Is It Just Lurchers?

Recommended Posts

That are like homing beacons?

My birds grandads who's walking my lurcher give me a frenzied call a about an hour ago,he let him off lead (which I said not to) and the dogs run about 4-5 miles home, thank god he didn't see any cats on his way.

My last lurcher done the same the first time my ex walked him,and a few years ago the same happened to me while walking my uncles pet rescue lurcher in an area I'm sure the dog had never been.

My bitch I have now as a pup when she was learning the ropes was slipped on a bunny which made cover and that was the last I saw of her that night, one of the windiest nights Iv ever been out on. She made her way home and was picked up by a couple of poofs in a smart car and took to the local police station!!

My mate had a little mixed breed terrier who used to go deaf when she was onto something when we were out bushing.. One day she vanished into some cover and we searched for about 3 hours for the little shit. When my mate went home she was sat by the front door wagging her tail at him! :D Wasn't the last time she done that either!

Ive mentioned it before but a friend of mine who lost his son in a car accident years ago told me that at the time of the crash he was out walking his dogs on his shoot and his terrier just fecked off. He was shouting on it but it just wouldnt listen. That terrier ran all the way home, maybe 15-20 miles in it, through main roads the lot. Now that terrier had never walked that route in its life.....probably travelled it 2/3 times a day but never walked it. Has to be one of the freakiest stories ever that when he told me... :icon_eek:

how do pigeons find their way back from miles away what do they use to navigate,i mean you hear stories of dogs over the years travelling hundreds of miles to get back to their owners and wonder how they do it :hmm:

magnetic fields

magnetic fields and how they effect us.

It is thought that the sun is going through a magnetic shift and the the earth may be in the early stages of polar reversal. studies in scientific litrature discribe how many animals fron whales and dolphins to hummingbirds and wildebeests rely on the earths magnetic superhighways to navigate their way to feeding and mating grounds. humans dont use these superhighways or so it was thought. In 1993 an international team studying magnetoreception, the ability of our brains to detect magnetic changes in the earth.the team published the remarkable findings that the human brain contains millions of tiny magnetic particles. these particals conect us just as they do animals, to earths magnetic field in a powerfull direct, and intimate way.
we know that for example magnetic fields have a profound influence over our nervous systems, our immune systems and our perception of time, space, dreams, and maybe even reality itself.

our plannets magnetic strength (field) varies from place to place, early in the twentieth century, magnetic, ribbonlike patterns were charted and published by scientists as a contour map of the world. the map displays the strength of the magnetic lines overlaying the continents and shows the places on earth where the people of the world experience the strongest and the weekest effects of the plannets magnetic fields.

consciousnes is made of energy, and that includes electricity and magnetisum, whilst the electromagnetic nature of consciousness is still being explored, it does appear that earths magnetics play a key role in how we accept new ideas and change in our lives.

The places in the world with the lowest magnetic intensity, such as the zero contour line (zero magnetic gauss)which runs directly beneath the suez canal and into israel. are precisely the places where we see the greatest opportunities for change.
On the opposite end of the spectrum there are zones of extremely high magnetisum where historically, change comes about slowly over time and is often the result of a struggle. in central russia for example, countour values are some of the highest in the world at more than 150 gauss units.

police officers and health workers will agree that bizarre and strange behaviour that is seen durring a full moon when the magnetic strength changes suddenly,
