dhand62362 13
Gents, I am looking to buy a 97, tx200hc or a 97kt. I have never shot a thumbhole stock, but have tried a 97k and a 77k. Does anyone know a dealer in the south west where they stock the KT so I may try the balance point or is it a trip up the M5 to SFS? Quote Link to post

Kgbmark 54
Dauntsey Guns in Wiltshire have the HW97KT in stock in both calibres for £449.00 inc VAT. I've bought some items from Wiltshire Rod & Gun recently and the owner has been very friendly and given me discount off his listed prices e.g Hawke 4-16x50 Sidewinder 30 IR SF scope down from £319 to £269 and Hawke LRF 400 range finder down from £120 to £107. Worth bearing in mind that prices displayed in a shop are an 'invitation to treat' i.e. if you offer the amount shown then they will accept that offer - it doesn't mean that they won't consider lower offers. Don't be afraid to negotiate especially on higher value items - if you don't ask, you don't get. 1 Quote Link to post

dhand62362 13
Met Tony at SFS today, had a chat about my Theoben trigger and picked up my KT, very impressed with the gun and Tony's knowledge. Hope the rain holds off tomorrow so I can get some range time in. 1 Quote Link to post

dhand62362 13
Great result mate. Please let us know how you get on with it. At 27 yards with a slight wind this morning at the Mendip range it was immediately obvious even with RWS Superdomes the potential this rifle holds. Next with AA field 4.52 I put a 10 shot grouping together that out performs my AAS400. The weight and the thumbhole stock and adj. butt pad make for a steady shooting platform. I will give it a month or two and take it back to Tony for an S2. Quote Link to post
