What Do You Do With Your Dog Shit?

Recommended Posts

Just curious as to what others do to get rid it. I feed raw so dont get too many turds but i just lift the manhole cover, chuck it in and fire a bucket of water after it and voila! gone! i know it seems like a stupid topic but there must be tons of it produced up and down the country every day and i just wondered where it all goes.

same here I chuck mine in a bucket full of water and disinfectant and chuck it down the manhole --- shavings and shredded paper go in the compost in the summer and I burn it in the winter ...

For years I've piped my kennels directly to the manhole. Before that I simply lifted the manhole cover. Either way, the most important thing you can do is make sure it gets well flushed with plenty of water and then every week or so (depending on how many dogs you kennel), do a super flush, a bin full of water. Cleans the lot right out and ensures your drains ain't never going to block, from anything...
