Face Veil

Recommended Posts

i use a piece of scrim net, long enough to stretch ear to ear, a piece of string tied to the corners and held in place by your cap, it sits on bridge of your nose and hangs just below chin, plenty of ventilation and not looking through slits and also does not cause condensation on binocular lenses

A piece of scrim netting will work fine....   Buy yourself some scrim and use it as camo, face veil, fly screen for the ferret hutch and whatever other uses you can find for the stuff. It quality

Never used one but when i have bumped game im pretty sure its through my own fault not by wearing a veil, id just leave it, in this weather its to hot to be using one anyway

Try a lightweight buff and a wide brimmed hat.

personally scrim id use for your rifle, and a face vail for your head...to rabbits with a shorter spectrum of vision will struggle seeing you right in front.

A few below is of my old MK4 before I had a new one

Yes I can see what your saying but scrim on the rifle is a bit hard as I cannot be bi poded hopefully il get a pcp one day I'm hoping for a hw100 in the distant future! What veil would be considered better one with an eye slit or full mesh? And being an underlever it's hard work with scrim on it ! Atb Andy

any of them on the market are fine, the deer hunter ones have some very affective ties at the back of the head which makes it much more comfortable

cant possibly be better than my two shoe lace type surly lol?;-)

Like this one??

Yeah buddy, it gives a more broken affect.

The debate about camouflage or not is a regular one. But yeah i swear by it.....especially at last light

Is the bit you see through see though? Or just like dense net or is it thinner if you get what I mean!

I use a cheap lightweight one like a mossie net style, it has elastic straps to wrap around your bonce and was only about £8 from local gunsmiths! That with a jack pyke baseball cap is plenty of cam for your face! I was out this morning on the crows in a hide, and they were landing pretty much at my feet pinching the pheasant feed!
