the one in brixham harbour, not sure of the name, but its opposite the kiosks that sell the fishing trips. the fish is massive, batter light and you cant get any fresher fish.

There some nice food and nice love monks haven have to try somethings cooken when I am next down

San telmo in Dorchester Dorset.never had bad portion off them.

Ive not been to many further afield but the magpie cafe in whitby is real nice. caf is always heaving, have to cue to get in, but they've recently opened a takeaway chippy just underneath (you have to go up steps to get to the cafe itself) and you dont have to cue round the block to get in.

If anyone is going to go off the beaten track though, best chippy in my local area i can safely say is at a place called liverton mines. its not hard to find but blink and you'll miss it. they've converted a bungalow in the middle of a row of bungalows into a chippy. Absolutely lovely, you'll want to lick the paper they came on.

I think I'm from there

Not sure though, You'll have to ask my man, Mickmck. Watch him though; I'm told he's an " Untrustworthy Gypsy ".

See? You just don't know half the craic you're missing in the Chat Room!

Good chippies? Any one in a fishing port (or even former fishing port) town.

" Kingfishers ", Albert Rd. Sue's pea fritters, laced with mint sauce, haunt my dreams to this day.
