Guest ragumup
I had our Lib Dem councilor come round here the other day...first time I've ever seen her. She asked how I'd be voting so I told her UKIP. She then tried the usual "UKIP are racist" crap and tried to argue with me changing points every few seconds...bloody hell I felt like I was on question time when she said UKIP are racist, you should of said "lets hope so" lol

Wildling 520
Why is Labour so popular any way ?
Milwr Jr. 99
Why is Labour so popular any way ? Because, for decades they were the only viable opposition to the Conservative party. Then they got in power and slowly cluster-f****d this country, which put an end to their popularity. But, as with any political organization, they can clean house and get some new faces up top and call it progress, and people are stupid enough to believe it.
Blackbriar 8,569
I've often thought that the ballot paper should be changed - underneath the list of candidates should be a tick-box designated as "none of the above" ! Might be interesting to see how many voters turned out to make a point of deliberately voting for no-one at all! I have to confess that I haven't voted for a long time - not because I'm lazy or apathetic, but because none of the mainstream parties adequately represent my views and opinions. I don't trust politicians, I don't believe them and, most importantly, I don't believe in them. In the 70s and 80s, you knew the two main parties had policies that directly opposed each other, and both would argue passionately to persuade you to their way of thinking.Whatever you thought of them, politicians had something to say - think of Thatcher, Hatton, Tebbit or Benn. Today, Cameron and Millipede engage in 'yah-boo' politics, rubbish each other's policies, then try to persuade around to the very same thing they said they were opposed to ! So, I say "none of the above", but if I do decide to vote, it will probably be for UKIP - why? 'I refer you to the answer I gave some moments ago', as they say in Westminster! thejackle 1
The question you have to ask yourself is are all the uk laws and scottish laws at the moment still going to be in forced or are they going to all under debate.because a lot of the laws aren't the best and they need to re-think some of them to improve the country for the best. So they just dont line there own pockets with the tax pays money they should be giving us more back.
